Sister, friend, lady at the checkout counter trying to get through your day today… I get you, I understand you, I feel you, I know your loss, your grief, your pain.
The Lord does too. He really does. His heart was broken, His soul was wounded, He experienced pain. He wept. He cried out. He felt abandoned. His body was emptied.
He knows you & I feel that way sometimes, some moments, some seconds…some days more than others.
He knows we will weep, we will cry out from the pain in our heart that reaches to the marrow of our bones, and we will empty enough tears from our eyes that we just know will fill the ocean 10-fold.
God knows…He is near…He is right here…and He isn’t going anywhere today, tomorrow, next week or next year; EVER. I promise you that. So does He.
